When buying equipment, the player’s height and weight are important in determining which item to choose. It may be advisable that if you are purchasing for someone else (e.g. your child) you should take them with you.

Glove sizing depends on the player but approximate sizes are as below:

  • Bennyball - 9" to 10"
  • U10's - 9" to 11"
  • U12's - 11" to 12"
  • U14's & U16's - 12" to 12.5"
  • U18s - 12.5" to 13"
  • Seniors - 12.5" and upwards

You can refer to these resources to assist you with choosing the right bat for you or your child:

Important: Please note that baseball bats are not permitted for use in softball or T-ball games. To ensure that the bat is legal for use in softball games ensure that it is marked with the ISF approval logo.

You can also refer to an approved list of bats on the Softball Australia site

Please also be advised that you must not engrave the barrel of a bat. If you engrave the barrel it will be considered modified and you will be unable to use the bat during the games. You are however able to engrave the knob end of a metal bat for identification purposes. Please check with your coach if you are unsure.
